Chrono Cross is very... odd... and good at the same time. i loved the game to death personally, but others didn't feel the same way. Most think that the only good thing about the game is its cinematics, but i thought that it was much more than that. Chrono Cross was Unique in many ways. In my oppinion Chrono Cross should be played by all RPG fans alike, For it has many different things envolved in it. The first is its battle system. When you first start using the battle system you may think that it's the strangest thing you have ever looked at. But it's not to bad.

The graphics in the game are also extrordinary. BUT the graphics department is Very lacking in the game, because there aren't many cut scenes, the game feels like it's lacking.. but it really isn't. Disk 2 of the game has more Graphical sequences than Disk one does, But disk 1 is alot longer *obviously*.

So In Conclusion i find this game a very worthy choice of a 9/10. If you like RPG's Give Chrono Cross a shot.

My small oppinions about the game

Most Memorable Moment
The music. Such great tunes.
Favorite Scene
I'll kick yer arse so hard you'll kiss the moons!
Least Favorite Scene
Getting the medicine for Kid.
Favorite Location
It's tough between Shadow Forest, Mt. Pyre, and Chronopolis.
Least Favorite Location
Hydra Marshes and the bone place.
Favorite Charicter
Serge and Kid.
Least Favorite Charicter
I never liked the Pirate dude much.
Hardest Boss
This dude you have to fight on a little island (cant remember name).
Approximate Complete Time
It took me around 40 hours.
Things You Should Know
The final boss is easy.
Final Score
9/10
Why a 8/10?
Chrono Cross is nothing short of amazing. Artisticly, it's down right beautiful. Along with the Music and a colorful cast of charicters it should have been a knockout hit. The battle system isn't everyones cup of tea though, and to be honest, it's somewhat bland. Alot of people wont love Chrono Cross as much as I do, Those people are missing out on what RPG's are all about, the storylines.
