Me and my bro bought Final Fantasy 8 the very first day it came out quite some time ago. Being a
huge fan of Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 8 was totally unexpected. I was young, and Squaresoft
gave me the meanest fast ball of my life. When I first started playing it, I thought it was alright,
buy my young mind couldn't grasp the *junction* system, so I never really liked it. That all chance
when I decide to give it another go during the summer of 2006. Hell, I fell in love. Why didn't I
like this game? it's amazing!

While the graphics aren't the prettiest, and the battles are bland at times. This game really
shines in the story and music department. Sure, there are cutscenes, but the storyline is so good
that you wont even care about them! My only complaint about the game is the wepons. You have to get
materials to upgrade these puppies, but if you're new to the game you will have no idea where to
find the bitches! It was quite frustrating for me. On the good side though, this game has a system
where the monsters adjust to your level of strenght. Hell, even the boss of the whole game does this!
I heard that there is someone who actually beat this fuckin thing at level 11! NO LIE!

While it's not the best Final Fantasy, it is a memorable one with an insanely catchy soundtrack. I
wouldn't go as far to say that it's better than Final Fantasy 9's soundtrack, but it's pretty damn
good. If you haven't played this gem yet, well, you know what you need to do now.

My small oppinions about the game
Most Memorable Moment
In space, when Squall saves Rinoa. Great scene.
Favorite Scene
Face scene.... hmmm... Well I like the scene where Luguna has the hots for that piano player in
the hotel.
Least Favorite Scene
Getting everyone out of jail, that scene SUCKS.
Favorite Location
the Fishermans Harbor place. It could have been just because of the neat song, but it was cool
too.
Least Favorite Location
I hated going through Lunatic Pandora.
Favorite Charicter
Squall! Duh! Laguna was cooel too.
Least Favorite Charicter
That fat dude under Balamb Garden.
Hardest Boss
Yep, the final boss. There are some hard side quest bosses too.
Approximate Complete Time
Yeh, 40 hours or so, just like any other FF.
Things You Should Know
Quistis knows Full Heal for here limit thingy, it's your best friend, believe me.
Final Score
10/10
Why a 10/10?
The game is great, from start to finish. Sure it has it's rough, boring passages. But doesn't every
game? With a top notch storyline like this, it's hard not to reccomend it.
