Where to begin. Legend of Mana was going to revolutionize the action rpg games we play today... But it did nothing. Before buying this game I read many reviews, good and bad. I came to realize that this is obviously *like legend of dragoon* a game you either love or hate. But to tell you the truth i neither loved or hate the game. When you start out you have to pic a charicter *both of em look like women* and pic a place on the map of where you want everything. Then you have to build the places you can go to. It felt like a sim game at first. Each place you build is unique and special in its own little way. The way you get new places to go to is by doing quests or favors for people.

Everything in the game is nice at first. The fighting, the graphics, the music... everything! But then the game starts to die after about your 3rd boss. You will soon come to realize that this is one hell of a repetetive and easy game. Sure the bosses are cool looking, but they're all really easy to beat. I think I only died twice in the whole game. You can learn some pretty cool attacks in the game though..

The Magic is a real let down though. The magic spells in this game are way way way way way to weak. You litterally have to depend on your weapons to win. It's not that hard to get a strong weapon either. Overall I say Legend of Mana is a good game. With all of the Lush enviroments, interesting charicters and over 60 quests to do, it's hard to play this game for less than 10 hours. So i give it a 8/10

My small oppinions about the game

Most Memorable Moment
Going to the floating dragon place for the first time.
Favorite Scene
When the Cannon was actually fireworks.
Least Favorite Scene
The entire Palace that comes out of Hades.
Favorite Location
The floating dragon isle is pretty sweet, so is the Mana Tree, and the Port Town is cool too =).

The fucking toy place.

Hardest Boss
When playing on No Future mode, the third dragon god is nearly impossible, unless you're using your strongest weps, which is what I refuse to do when playing on that mode.
Approximate Complete Time
Your first play through should take more than 15 hours, trying to do ever quest will only take abou 10 once you're familliar with the game though..
Things You Should Know
The songs are used over and over and over and over again..

Why an 8/10?
It is a great game, but nothing you would want to play alone by yourself more than once a year. And obviously, it wont appeal to everyone, and the same songs are used way to much.
