There probably aren't enough words to describe how amazing Metal Gear Solid is. So with this limited space that I have, I'm going to try and some up a game that shouldn't even need to be reviewed. I first played Metal Gear Solid in 2002 when my brother borrowed it from a friend. That day changed my life. That day I was introduced to what is THE best action game EVER for the Playstation. Why is Metal Gear Solid so legendary you ask? Well, lets take a look. I bought the Metal Gear Solid collection on the first day it came out, and I must say. It was great to relive Metal Gear Solid in its original form. It really is something that must be played through at least once every 2 years.

You see, MGS introduced us to its gripping story. This story is still questioned by many even to this day. Honestly though, Metal Gear Solid's awesome storytelling achievement might be the reason why the game is so great. I mean seriously, the controls aren't all that great. One major flaw is that you cant go into first person and shoot at your target. You have to shoot, punch and crawl ALL in the 3rd person. It can be rather clunky at times, but everything else in the game helps you forgive this.

I dont know what else to say here. If you haven't played Metal Gear Solid, go buy it now. If you dont, you will regret it. Honestly, this game really is the best action game for the Playstation 1.
