I had some extremely high hopes for this game, believe me. When I first got the game, I was blown
away! The graphics were nothing short of breathtaking magic on a screen. Okami is a real treat for
anyone. I'm not a huge fan of japanese stuff and arts. But this game took everything about Japan
and made something spectacular. What's so great about Okami you ask? Everything. If anything, I
could only describe it as a different kind of Zelda. It plays, and feels much like Zelda actually.
but deep inside, Okami is a big leep in another direction from Zelda. Pretty much all you do is
help peole, and go through dungeons and fight some pretty enormous bosses. Did I mention Okami is
long too? Oh yes, it took me just under 37hrs to finish it.
Am I done? of course not! Okami gets 3 differnt kinds of weapon catagories to use. A sheild,
sword, and some tamborine lookin thingy. There are 5 different wepons to each of these catagories,
each having it's own quality. But what about all the painting? Yes, there is painting. Painting
can be used to create bridges, put out fires, create bombs, and even create wind! It is extremely
innovative and easy to use.

So What would I give such a great game? Only a 10/10! Okami is a masterpiece and proves that Capcom
can make a Zelda game too (a rather long one at that). If you love Zelda style games, or just love
great adventures, Okami is your game.

My small oppinions about the game
Most Memorable Moment
When I first started moving Okami around. I was so stunned by the visuals that I
just had to stop and take a look around.
Favorite Scene
The ending. It was a great way to end the game. The best part about it was that
it showed signs of a sequal.
Least Favorite Scene
When you first kill the 8 headed dragon... or was it 6 heads?
Favorite Location
Man, when you had to go inside of that dragon I couldn't believe it. I was sitting
there saying (no way! they wont do it! there's no way I'm gonna go.... OMG! I HAVE
TO GO INSIDE IT!) I also like the second dungeon in the game. You could totally
tell they were going for a Zelda type feel.
Least Favorite Location
There isn't one, the game is so good that I loved every location.
Favorite Charicter
Okami. The little dude on his back was cool, but that dog had guts!
Least Favorite Charicter
There isn't one. everyone was cool =).
Hardest Boss
The final boss was a challenge. I think he was the only boss I died on.
Approximate Complete Time
around 40 hours. Maybe 30, but I'm pretty sure it took 40. It's a pretty long
game for a Zeldaish kinda game.
Things You Should Know
Just when you think it's over. It's not.
Final Score
10/10
Why a 10/10?
This, sadly, is a game alot of people missed out on. To those people, I pitty you.
If you have any spare cash, some free time to spare, and know where you can buy
this game, do it. For only $40 you can't pass this one up. I love this game. I
dont think I can see myself playing it again for a few years, but the time I did
spend with it will be cherished for a lifetime. The sad thing is that this was
Clover Studios last game before they broke up, so a sequal is unlikely to surface.
But if it does, I'll be there.
