Wow. Where to begin? I've written a review for this game two other times, for reasons I wont say here. This time,
I'm going to give you guys the whole scoop on what Rogue Galaxy is all about. Level 5 is quite
possibly my favorite Game Company ever. Next to Square-Enix and Kojima Productions. Anyway, Rogue
Galaxy stars a man named Jaster. Jaster has big dreams to go into space and explore the galaxy.
One day while Jaster is in his home town, a big monster attacks. Trying to play the hero part,
Jaster runs out to defeat it. This is where Jaster gets thrown into a plot bigger than he could have ever
imagined.
The enviroments in Rogue Galaxy are nothing short of breath taking. Level 5 did a superb job with
level design this time around. My only complaint is that some of the dungeons are a tad to long. I
know that they were trying to followe their old tradition, BUT COME ON! The Gladius Towers were so
long that I was ready to stop playing the game by the end of them. Other than that, great job =).
Fighting is just your normal hack and slash system. Kinda like Kingdom Hearts and Dark Cloud 2
combined. A little ways into the game you will get a frog named Toady who will chew up two weapons
and combine them to create a much stronger weapon. You can either follow Toady's advice and create
really strong weps, or you can do it freestyle and you'll still get some pretty kick ass weapons.
Along with Toady, there is a item creation system in the game *something Level 5 hasn't done
before!*. It's actually pretty impressive to look at. Basically, you have to create a factory. At
the start, you put down the two items to combine. After that you lay down your conveyor belts and
watch your creation come to life. The factory isn't as expansive as Level 5 usually does things, but
it's a good start.

In the end I love Rogue Galaxy. The game is so massive that I dont think I could see myself
playing it again for a long time, but it was great. Level 5 Put together another greaet package,
and for only $40, who can complain? I give it a 9/10.

My small oppinions about the game
Most Memorable Moment
After I watched the inro movie, I knew I was about to be apart of greatness.
Favorite Scene
I dont have one.
Least Favorite Scene
I dunno.
Favorite Location
I really like the sewers you have to go to under that big city place. and the
island place.
Least Favorite Location
THE GLADIUS TOWERS!!!!!
Favorite Charicter
Jaster was by far the coolest Character.
Least Favorite Charicter
The fat walrus looking dude.
Hardest Boss
I need more time to think on this one. I dont recall the final boss being to
hard, but I have a faint memory of at least one boss being hard..
Approximate Complete Time
40 hours to beat the main story, after that, I dunno.
Things You Should Know
Most of the things you create in the factory just have one different ingrediant
difference..
Final Score
9/10
Why a 9/10?
While I strongly believe this game is brilliant. Not everyone will like it. In
most of the reviews I read before purchasing the game, I heard complaints of
areas being to big, resources being overused, and insanely repetative gameplay.
Also, most of the story is crap. But seriously, this is another brilliant game
hot out of Level 5's oven. If they keep making games like this and DC2, they
might have a long life span ahead of them.
