Where do i begin. I loved Xenogears to death, It is one of those games that you buy without expecting much. I got this game on August 13th and beat in exactly 2 months. I found it in a used game bin at GameStop and haven't forgotten about it. I still remember playing it. The Game Is chalk full of Religion and Government systems. So many Plot twist, So many hours spent. The game took me a little over 60 hours to complete. When the game ended i was quite happy and upset at the same time. It felt like the game went by too fast. Beating the game was a great challenge for me. It's not that the game is hard, It's just that the boss was mean. The boss was way overpowered and I still think that it was shear luck that i beat him. The fighting system in the game was great! It has a bit of a learning curve to it, but you'll get it eventually. There are some things that the game doesn't tell you and you have to find out on yourself. this was one of the reasons the game really boiled my broccolli. Other than that I think that Squaresoft did a great job on the Battleing. There are some spots where you are supposed to die, but you end up fighting your heart out. So don't get mad at the game for these kinds of battles. I remember falling asleep sometimes from all the training that i had to do just beat the boss. The battle music really isn't the best either.
The actual gameplay is amazing. Instead of just walking they gave you the ability to jump too. Walking around in the world of Xenogears could really never get boring for me. The big enviroments and compact buildings will never get old. Storyline and such other things in the game are also a great suprise. The plot twists will really have your mouth drop to the floor. There are a few *betrayal* scenes that will make you go crazy and say "what the hell!!!" But overall the storyline is put together incredably.

With all the Greatness of Xenogears i have no choice but to give it a 10/10. The only real complaint I have is that the Cutscenes could have been done alot better, and there should've been more of em.

Hardest Boss
The final boss. It is (in my oppinion) the hardest boss EVER. Seriously, out of all the RPGs I've played in my day, this game has the hardest boss in the world.

Save your 3 strongest people for the bosses final form. Believe me.

Why a 10/10?
I still have urges to pop Xenogears back open and play through it again. Such a brilliant game. The crazy thing was that disk 1 is over 40 hours long. They kind of shortened Disk 2 in a gay way, but it still rules =). This might be my 3rd favorite RPG of all time.
